Expansion strategy in place for Spring Fair International
Spring Fair International is set for a reshuffle come the shows arrival in February 2001 with the arrival of a comprehensive expansion strategy.
Organisers Emap Connect Home & Gift will begin to unfold its blueprint for the future of Spring Fair International at the 2011 show, which marks the first stage in further plans to see the show develop and expand during 2012 and beyond.
Building on the success of SFI 2010, the journey begins with a major investment made by Emap to significantly improve traffic flow around the exhibition.
The spotlight will fall on Hall 9, which will become the focus point for gift, home and design-led buyers.
This will see Hall 9 becoming the lynchpin of the gift and home halls, and transformed into a must-visit destination for gift, home and design-led buyers. This will enhance the buying experience for retailers and their overall enjoyment of Spring Fair, encouraging them to spend more time at the show.
Although it is understood there are no direct changes to Kitchen and Dining in Hall 2 which will attract the majority of Tableware visitors, it is hoped that the changes will enhance of the overall buying experience for buyers and make the show more enjoyable, hopefully resulting in more buying time. Walkways are also being introduced between Halls 5 and 9, which will also help flow footfall between the different show sectors.
