Ambiente sets sights high for 2012

This week saw the TI team attend a press event for the 2012 Ambiente.

In short the show will remain the same in basic layout (after the Hall reshuffle of 2010), with a number to incentives in place to highlight certain sectors and enable the show to develop.

With Dining taking more than 50% of the total space for 2012 - the show has plenty to offer the Tabletop sector. The show is already understood to be booked up for 2012.

Next year will see the show push areas of Contract Business, and also introduce a new 'country spotlight' by highlighting products from a particular country every year. It kicks off in 2012 with the support of Denmark, with plenty of design led Danish design on hand to appeal to buyers.

The November / December issue of Tableware International will include more news on the 2012 in its annual Exhibition Diary, as well as the all-important full product preview in the Jan / Feb issue.
