Show schedule for 41 Madison released

Forty One Madison has released the full event schedule for The New York Tabletop Market, which takes place April 14-17

Forty One Madison, the home of Tabletop, has released its full event schedule for the upcoming New York Tabletop Market, which takes place at 41 Madison from April 14-17, 2016.

Weddings’ Might
The influences and impact of the wedding market on tabletop sales will be a focus of a Breakfast Seminar planned for Wednesday, April 15. Headlining the panel, which will take on the topic “Terms of Engagement: Capturing The Registries of Millennial Brides & Grooms,” are Amanda Allen, founder of the online gift registry service NewlyWish, Anne Chertoff, a longtime wedding expert and journalist, and Amy Wilkins, veteran group publisher of Martha Stewart Weddings.

They will discuss the potential business represented by those who are marrying and how those selling tableware can effectively capture that lucrative market segment – plus retain them as lifelong customers. A buffet breakfast will be served beginning at 8 a.m. and the seminar gets underway at 8:30 a.m., concluding by 9:15 a.m., allowing time for guests to get to their first showroom appointments. Seating for this session is limited, and reservations recommended at or 212.686.1203.

The décor of the lobby also will echo the relationship between tabletop and the wedding market as Martha Stewart Weddings creates the tablesetting vignettes on display throughout the week. The magazine, which is celebrating its 20th year of publication, will bring its distinctive signature style and inspiration to this welcoming component of the show.

Bridal Guide resumes its sponsorship of The Café on Level A, a role it has played at The New York Tabletop Market for the past 20 years. The complimentary bites and beverages it will be serving will take on a “Taste of the Tropics“ theme, with service available Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Wednesday,
12 - 4 p.m.; and, Thursday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Interior Designer Day
Interior Designer Day, the initiative launched six years ago to bring interior designers together with the dozens of tabletop and home accessories brands at Forty One Madison, continues on Thursday, April 16.

New York Spaces editor-in-chief Jason Kontos will co-host with Burns a meet-and-greet breakfast in the newly renovated 39th floor Director’s Office. Following the breakfast Kontos and Burns will send guests off with recommendations of “must see” showrooms and products while visiting the market.
