Ambiente to deliver dining innovations
Leading international trade fair Ambiente will deliver design, innovations and lifestyle trends in table, kitchen and household across its 16 halls
Dining, Giving and Living are the names of the three segments at Ambiente, the leading international trade fair. From 13 to 17 February 2015, 4,700 exhibitors will be displaying goods from the field of design, innovation and lifestyle trends in 27 halls.
With around 2,200 exhibitors in 16 halls, the Dining segment represents the entire market for table, kitchen and household wares. It covers everything from the premium segment right up to the volume business. The product groups are as clearly structured as the range in the Dining segment is broad. This means that purchasers from various marketing channels and assortments have only short ways to go – and hence more time to scout for new items.
“The manufacturers’ innovation cycles are geared to the date of Ambiente. This is why trade visitors in Frankfurt can see considerably more new items than at other fairs with similar thematic emphases”, says Thomas Kastl, Director at Ambiente for the Dining segment.
Great brands and smart ideas for the kitchen
The Kitchen product group offers utensils for cooking, frying and baking, also flatware and cutlery, as well as appliances and equipment for the modern kitchen. Fissler, Le Creuset, KitchenAid, WMF or Zwilling are but a few of the major brands to present their innovations. Small electrical devices, grills and barbecue equipment also continue to be great favourites with consumers. They are an important part of the offering in Halls 3.0 and 3.1. In the Kitchen Trends section, for example, visitors will find a range of utensils for preparing drinks at the bar, as well as kitchen accessories or modern tableware. Colourful design and ideas from exhibitors like Bredemeijer, DKB Household, Joseph Joseph, Mastrad or Oxo International make this section an important stopping-off point for trend-oriented purchasers visiting the fair.
Tableware for every situation
Tableware at all levels is on show in the Table segment. From manufactories via design oriented companies to branded companies and specialists for the horeca segment, this is where purchasers will find the unusual, the exquisite, the trend-setters and the revenue generators.
With suppliers such as Alessi, Asa Selection, Eva Solo, Georg Jensen or Stelton, the ‘Table Contemporary’ product group displays new trends in Hall 4.0. At ‘Table Prestige’ in Hall 4.1 suppliers such as Dibbern, Lenox, Rosenthal, Wedgwood, Tiroler Glashütte (Riedel) or Villeroy & Boch provide the keynote for the high-quality offering.
International brands are also offered by the ‘Table Daily Life’ in Halls 4.2. and 6.2. For the first time, the entire BHS Group with the Bauscher, Schönwald and Tafelstern brands will be displaying its offerings at Ambiente. In addition to the above, companies like Arc International, Bohemia Cristal, Bormioli Rocco, Libbey, Paşabahçe or Rak Porcelain will be showcasing their assortments and long sellers. Bulk buyers will find glass, porcelain and ceramic ware in the ‘Table Top Trade’ product group in Halls 6.2 and 6.3 with suppliers such as Arda Cam, Gibson Overseas, Vidrios Reciclados San Miguel or Wrześniak Glassworks.
Practical solutions for kitchen and household
In Halls 5.0, 5.1, 6.0 and 6.1, the Houseware & Storage product group offers utensils for making everyday life simpler. Whether it be for storage, cleaning or preparation, traders can always score high points with their customers with practical and appealing household and kitchen aids. Companies such as Fackelmann, Hailo, Leifheit, Progressive International, Tescoma or Wesco display solutions for private and professional use.
The sourcing platform for the volume business
As the largest sourcing platform outside China, Ambiente offers purchasers ideal conditions for the volume business. Thanks to its clear structure and short paths between the product groups in the Passage section, orders can be placed efficiently and across industries. In the Passage product groups Table & Decoration, Passage Table & Kitchen Select and Passage Dining & Houseware volume suppliers with export experience will be displaying an international range of goods and services.
Solutions for the commercial contract furnishing business and Horeca
For three years now, Ambiente has seen an increase in the offerings from the field of commercial contract furnishing and Horeca (Hotel Restaurant Catering). Here professional buyers, fitters, interior designers, caterers and the upmarket hotel industry come together with around 270 exhibitors specialising in these fields. In the run-up to the fair, the Matchmaking Platform offers an opportunity to target one’s researches and to arrange appointments. Apart from this, the ‘Contract Guide’ brochure provides information during the fair about exhibitors and persons to contact. The Contract Business Label makes it easy to find exhibitors on the homepage and in the halls.
Inspiration with added value
Ambiente’s visitor programme is an important instrument for ensuring that a visit to the fair runs smoothly and efficiently. Before placing their orders, trade visitors can obtain a concentrated overview at special shows such as Ambiente Trends 2015, Design Plus, German Design Award, Talents or Solutions. With the focus on trends, design and functional innovation, the formats provide an important impetus for selecting the assortment. The United States of America will be present as the partner country at this, the world’s leading trade fair. The partner country presentation ‘Seashore Galore’ will form an impressive platform for products by exhibitors from the USA. The Kitchen Innovation of the Year award will also once again be presented at Ambiente.
