Ambiente preview: Villeroy & Boch

During upcoming consumer goods show, Ambiente 2017, which runs February 10-14, Villeroy & Boch will present an array of new products, from food concepts to gifts to tableware

At Ambiente, the Tableware Division will present attractive new products representing a continuation of the company's successful product strategy, focusing on themes that once again revolve around the strong trends of cooking & pleasure and giving.

There will be extensions to the Passion collection. In BBQ Passion, introductions include a burger plate with dips and accompaniments, as well as a kebab plate with a practical hollow to stop the skewer from sliding. In Pizza Passion, new items include a Party Plate for six people, designed to easily serve pizza slices to guests or family, and a new lasagne server with silicone handles.

Villeroy & Boch will unveil lots of themed and seasonal gift items - suitable for any occasion, in different price brackets, and brimming with style. The bestselling NewWave Caffè is launching a third version of the Animals of the World decor featuring colourful butterflies – ideal for collectors and coffee-lovers alike. These exotic iridescent creatures are depicted in loving detail, making them very realistic representations of their real-life counterparts from Colombia, Cuba, Costa Rica and Brazil.

With its gently curving organic design, the large leaf dish is exceptionally stylish and classic, an exclusive eye-catching feature that now comes in the opulent floral decor of the Quinsai Garden pattern and the two Oriental-style decors of Samarah and Golden Oasis.

The new handmade items in the Oronda vase series also make decorative design objects. Each classic round-bodied vase features an individual marbled effect created in four layers of glass using a skilled manual technique. The vases are available in two sizes and two colours, bright orange or vibrant blue.

There are also some attractive new tableware products for 2017. As well as a complete new series, existing successful collections are also being expanded to include new products, patterns and colours. One of the highlights will be the bestselling NewWave in an innovative stone look.

Detailed information on the 2017 POS campaign developed by Villeroy & Boch specially for its trade partners will also be available on the stand. The attractive and sales-boosting 2017 activity calendar provides the POS with effective support for sell-out with seasonal and themed promotions.
