Eiseman and Mirabile team up for
'Engaging the Consumer' seminar
Two experts whose ideas influence what consumers see on store shelves will take centre stage at the upcoming 2014 International Home + Housewares Show from March 15-18
As part of the International Home + Housewares Show, which takes places in Chicago from March 15-18, there will be a number of free educational sessions.
First up, Michelle Schumaker, Home Goods Branding Lead at Google, Inc., will present Google search data and the results of a new custom consumer housewares research study. In 'Rethinking the Shopper’s Path to Purchase’, which takes place oin Sunday, March 16 at 12pm, attendees can find out more about how to build targeted marketing strategies to own the new ‘digital shelf’.
On the following day, March 17 at 7.30am, senior vice president, global trend and design at Lifetime Brands, Inc., Tom Mirabile, will present ‘Top Trends for 2014 – The New Normal: How to Survive and Thrive in Our Erratic Marketplace’. This will look how changes in the consumer mindset impact housewares manufacturers and retailers alike.
At 12pm on the same day, renowned colour expert and executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, Lee Eiseman, will reveal the coming colour trends in in ‘New Harmonies: Changing Themes in Color/Design Trends.’
Finally, on Tuesday March 18 at 12pm, Eiseman and Mirabile will join forces for a dynamic joint presentation entitle ‘Engaging the Consumer: Facts vs. Fictions in Lifestyle and Color’. Here, they will discuss the changing realities of today’s consumer and the essential role of colour in both serving and connecting with them.
