Largest unique range at January Dallas Market
The largest collection of unique products in the US will be at The Dallas Total Home & Gift Market in January
The Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, January 20-26, will feature the nation’s largest collection of unique, one-of-a-kind products found in a single location including handcrafted, artisan and vintage products across more than 500,000 square feet of permanent and temporary spaces.
“Everyone is looking for those unique one-of-a-kind products that will set their store apart,” Cindy Morris president and CEO of Dallas Market Center said. “This year we will have the largest assortments of artisan, handmade, unique and vintage products in the country. This is a great opportunity for retailers to be able to diversify their product mix and reach new buyers with exclusive product lines.”
LUXE Home Gallery opens this January on the first floor of the World Trade Center with new exhibitors that have been carefully curated to be a part of Dallas Market Center’s design expansion. With beautiful geode accent pieces, a new French collection, original paintings, high-end acrylic furniture, and other designer-inspired products, LUXE Home Gallery will be the destination for exclusive, one-of-a-kind home décor.
New offerings in artisan wares including jewelry, glass, ceramics and more from the American Made Showroom on WTC 6 will provide buyers with handcrafted products they can only find during market.
“The American Made Showroom accommodates numerous individual artists exhibiting contemporary limited edition gifts and jewelry that are in high demand by conscientious customers,” Wendy Rosen, president of the American Made Show said. “These studios provide their lines exclusively to retailers adding handmade authenticity to your store assortment and higher mark-ups for retail partners.”
Artisan products have also found their way to the table with tabletop, gourmet and housewares lines that allow at-home cooks to be food artisans. From handmade, custom designed aprons by J.E.M Couture Designs to hand-hammered 100 percent recycled copper mugs from Sertodo Copper, buyers will be able to find everything they need at the Gourmet Market in January.
“Each one of our copper pieces is individually handcrafted by artisans in Santa Clara del Cobre, a village located high in the Sierra Madres Occidental of Southwestern Mexico,” Jonathan Beall founder of Sertodo Copper said. “We believe in quality products that provide both uniqueness and a dignified business approach that really resonates with consumers.”
Individual showrooms are also showcasing artisan and one of-a-kind products ranging from lighting, furniture, gifts, accents pieces, wall art, paper products, fashion accessories and more.
Custom vintage designs made of salvaged pieces and hard-to-find décor items can be found in Market Hall and the vintage temp area including items from The Seed Box Antiques. Owners Meloney and Brian Russell go on the hunt to reclaim vintage pieces that can be bought off the floor during market.
“I grew up in the antique business, always traipsing along with my grandfather and mother to Canton,” Meloney Russell owner and designer at The Seed Box Antiques said. “I’ve always had a passion for antiques and refurbished goods. Before venturing out on the road to exhibit, my husband and I had a store for 8 years. We are now able to help wholesalers and resellers with showroom and store finish-outs inspired by the vintage look and feel that retailers are looking for.”
