Exclusively 2016 sold out

Exclusively Housewares, which will mark its 15th year in June 2016, is sold out, with all its 120 exhibitor spaces confirmed

The housewares trade show, which covers everything from cookware and tableware through to tools, gadgets, laundry and storage, runs every year at the Business Design Centre in London, and is a well-established event in the housewares industry calendar.

Sister show Exclusively Electrical will make a welcome return in 2016 following its successful launch in 2015. Designed for retailers who sell, or are thinking of selling, small domestic appliances, the show will once more feature 25 of the top kitchen and home appliance suppliers and brands including KitchenAid, Jura, Meyer, Magimix, Bugatti and Blendtec (EPE International) Groupe SEB, Witt, Salter and Beldray (Ultimate Products), Dualit, Vita-Mix, Team UKI, Tower and Smart Worldwide, plus new additions Arzum Elektrikl, Sage Appliances and Smartwares Europe.

Companies new to Exclusively Housewares this year include Aydya, Boska Cheesewares, Ecoegg, Lurch, Luxury Housewares, My Gifts Trade, Plan B Marketing, Plasticforte, Ryland Peters & Small and World Kitchen. They are joined by Brita, Fairmont & Main, Sterck and Villeroy & Boch, all of whom are making a welcome return to exhibiting at Exclusively Housewares.

Both the shows are run on behalf of the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) and offer exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to be part of a unique event.

Exclusively Housewares was created as a level playing field for housewares suppliers to attend without the need to build and fund a large trade stand,” explains show operations director Simon Boyd. “Our original ‘Shell Scheme only’ and restricted stand sizes still operate today, and have become fundamental to the nature and style of the show – which remains very popular with suppliers and visitors alike!”

BHETA’s members, all suppliers, continue to influence how the shows are run; providing details of any buying changes at UK companies and suggesting overseas targets to invite along to the show, confident that they will be well looked after.

“The other key part of the original set up was that visitors should be restricted to bona fide buyers, who should be treated well – and the hospitality at Exclusively Housewares, with its free coffee and tea trolleys and free lunch, has always been second to none!” explains Will Jones, who as Housewares sector director for BHETA, acts as chairman on the shows.

“The whole team is looking forward to another great summer show, with plenty of new ideas and products for our visitors to enjoy, plus some great Christmas bargains to add to their buying plans,” Will added.

Both shows will run on Tuesday, 14 and Wednesday, 15 June 2016 at the Business Design Centre, London
