Trend counselling comes to Exclusively Housewares
Discover the key dining and kitchen trends and colours for A/W 2014 and S/S 2015 at the London show in June
Exclusively Housewares organisers Brooke House Exhibitions has teamed up with trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus, to host a trends presentation on the second morning of the show, which takes place June 10-11 at the Business Design Centre in London.
The show has teamed up with trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus, to host a short presentation, which will cover the key interior design trends and key colours for Autumn/Winter 2014/15 and Spring/Summer 2015. The content will cover kitchen, dining and small domestic appliances (SDA) product areas.
In addition, Scarlet Opus, which has experience working with Lakeland, Creative Tops and Le Creuset, will also run a workshop, specifically aimed at independent retailers, and designed to provide them with thoughts, information and ideas to leave with, enabling them to develop a ‘Customer Experience’ that will match their consumers’ desires.
Scarlet Opus will be joined by leading market research company GfK, whose team will present an overview of the market that will identify those product areas that are enjoying growth to help retailers with their category buying choices.

Regular visitors to this year’s show may also notice a difference at the Business Design Centre when they attend, as after several years in the planning, the building’s two magnificent gable ends have been replaced with new transparent glass, which makes a striking difference to the ambience inside the main hall which is brighter and more airy than before with a greater sense of space.
The show has a full line-up of 120 exhibitors for 2014 including new exhibitors Everyware Global, KitchenAid, Melitta Europa, Root7 and Smart Worldwide, with Fiskars, OXO Good Grips and Sodastream returning to the show after a break.
They join a stellar line-up of housewares, tablewares and SDA suppliers, who together make Exclusively Housewares such a popular show for all types of buyers, from the largest to the smallest, and from the specialist cookshops to the more general lifestyle stores looking for fabulous functional gifts!
The 2014 Exclusively Housewares show will run at the Business Design Centre in London on Tuesday, 10 and Wednesday, 11 June.
