Gift for Life welcomes new board members
Gift for Life, the gift and home industries' sole national charitable organisation, has announced the addition of two new board members to its roster
Gift for Life, the gift and home industries' sole national charitable organisation, has announced the addition of two new board members to its roster, bringing its leadership roster to nearly 30 members. New members are Kim Wahlberg of the Kimberly Wahlberg Company and Caitlin Kelly of Whereoware.
“These new members bring strong gift and home industry knowledge and experience to our board, " says Frank Joens, chair of the Gift For Life Board. “We are honoured to welcome them and to use their time and talents to further our overall mission.”
Kim Wahlberg, president of the Kimberly Wahlberg Company, brings more than 30 years gift and home industry experience to the board. She opened her own Northeast-based sales agency in 2008, with a specialization in nationally-recognised companies in the gift and women’s segment of the industry. Prior to working as a sales representative, she was a home/decorative goods buyer for G. Fox ~ Filene’s Department Store.
Caitlin Kelly, senior account manager of Whereoware, has nearly seven years experience with email marketing strategy and website production. In her current role with Whereoware, she helps key accounts increase online revenue and optimises the customer journey. Kelly, who replaces Eric Dean, CEO of Whereoware, on the Board, will serve on Gift for Life’s Marketing & Communications Committee.
Each year, Gift for Life hosts events throughout the U.S. benefitting DIFFA. The primary mission of Gift for Life and DIFFA is to eradicate the AIDS pandemic in the U.S. Working together, Gift for Life and DIFFA will continue to raise funds for HIV/AIDS service and education programs.
