'Home' first show inspires buyers
Just last week the doors closed on 'home' - the news London industry-focused trade shows which went a long way to wow the international crowd.
The show organisers Clarion Events report the buyer feedback as 'fantastic', which comments comparing the show to be on par with its international counterparts Maison et Objet and Ambiente.
The cumulative visitor attendance for Home and Top Drawer was 13,943 (although these figures we understand are yet o be audited).
Exhibitors were genuinely pleased with the quality and quantity of buyers, even though orders are proving harder to secure in the current climate.
The positivity of buyer and exhibitor response has been overwhelming and this puts us in an excellent position to achieve our vision of becoming the ultimate spring buying event in London over the next few years.
International attendance has proved very strong, with top stores such as Mitsukoshi & Takashima from Japan, Lane Crawford of Hong Kong, Amazon of USA, La Rinascente of Italy, and Beymen of Turkey.
We've rounded up a few comments from the show floor from buyers and exhibitors:
"Wonderful show to visit, full of new ideas, productive & creative companies to discover, ahead of all the other shows of the season"

"
We thought Home was brilliant. Really well designed, great layout and an exceptionally well edited choice of exhibitors. I hope the show goes from strength to strength. Please pass on our thanks to all involved as we finally have a UK design show to be proud of!"
