Now in its fourth engagement at fieramilano, Homi Milano has opened its design-friendly doors at Fiera Milano in Milan and will run through September 15.
This edition of Homi falls during Expo 2015, the World’s Fair that is being hosted in Milan until October and whose venue is just around the corner from Fiera Milano.
Homi September confirms the unique division of product categories within its pavilions into satellites: Living Habits, Home Wellness, Fragrances & Personal Care, Fashion & Jewels, Gifts & Events, Garden & Outdoor, kid Style, Home Textiles, Hobby & Work.
Dedicated to specific categories and experiences, the satellites are combined to give life to brand new concepts that underscore the innovative nature of Homi and its spaces, thanks to emotionally charged settings.
Tableware, Kitchenware and Home living represent not only the themes of the exhibition, but also a fil rouge thoughout a wide range of interconnected areas at Homi.
Simple and compact shapes create trends and inspire the design of objects and accessories for the kitchen, which becomes more colourful, versatile and informal. Home itself appears as an extended parlour game, a playful habitat where to invite friends and share this atmosphere with whoever. Imagination, ingeniousness, originality and a bit of understatement constitute the emerging values highlighted by the design researches of Homi September 2015 exhibitors.
Homi Kitchen is made of flavours, but also of colours and shapes. A sensorial beauty that combines together scents, colours and tactile sensations. This – and much more – is what Enjoy The Table is about. This initiative will take on several important themes over the four days of the show, supported by showcooking and demonstrations:
• Health and wellness – cooking in a healthy way
• Food traditions of excellence – atmospheres and tools from far and near cultures
• Street food, eating on the go – street food, picnics, food on the terrace or BBQs
• Holidays – special occasions, hospitality and everyday holidays share
A new feature is also Homi Food area, entirely dedicated to high quality agriculture production and food through concrete “objects” inspired by the world of fashion and design. With a strong emphasis on both product and packaging, these items have been created with different materials and techniques, exploring new forms of taste in order to propose a wide range of offer to every visitor.
