Tabletop expansion at Las Vegas Market

Las Vegas Market Winter 2016 expands gourmet category with double the number of housewares, tabletop and speciality food resources

Las Vegas Market announced today that exponential growth in the gourmet category continues at the Winter 2016 Las Vegas Market, with double the number of housewares, tabletop and specialty food resources presented on C11 — the new permanent showroom floor that launched in July 2015 — and several major new specialty tabletop and housewares suppliers debuting within its C-ONE cross-category showcase. Las Vegas Market runs January 24-28, 2016.

“In just five months since the launch of C11 as a gourmet-focused permanent showroom floor, we have doubled the number of gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and specialty food resources,” said Dorothy Belshaw, President of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “This Winter, C11 will achieve 40% of its projected total occupancy and we anticipate a complete sell-out of the floor by the end of 2016. As the leading furniture, home décor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market is committed to creating a compelling product offering for specialty gourmet retailers.”

In total, 100+ resources will be featured on C11 for Winter 2016, including 20 new-to-Market gourmet suppliers. Newcomers debuting in January include a shared manufacturer showroom showcasing nine top brands – Epicurean, Frieling, Kitchen IQ, Peugeot, Simply Baked, Talisman, USA Pan, Victorinox and Wellness Mats; and another five newly confirmed C11 tenants: Hammond’s Candies, Jacob’s Musical Chimes, Northern International Inc., Option 2/Walpert/Silver Tree and Sea Stones. These most-recently confirmed participants join six other previously announced winter Market debuts: Harold Import Company, Blue Cattle Truck Mexican Vanilla, LeadingWare Group, Magenta Inc., Pepper Creek Farms, and multi-line sales agency Boelter Brands/Peterson Associates.

In addition to these newcomers, C11 anchor tenant Muir Sales LLC and charter tenant Menus and Music Inc., will expand their showroom spaces for Winter 2016. Muir Sales LLC, which is doubling its showroom space, will debut two new lines – Tabletop Operations which distributes Eisch Glass, and Life Factory.

Another 50 specialty tabletop and housewares resources will be presented throughout Las Vegas Market’s Building C. A concentration of these resources is located on C-ONE, a cross-category showcase of specialty tabletop and better gift and home suppliers. Newcomers to C-ONE for winter 2016 are Brown Jordan Kitchens (outdoor furniture and accessories), Canvas Home (Eco-conscious home goods), MEPRA (stainless steel flatware and hollowware from Italy) and Riedel USA (wine glasses, decanters, glassware, stemware from Austria).
