Top Drawer has announced an engaging line-up of retail experts for the forthcoming Academy Live talks taking place at Olympia London. Speakers span the breadth of the retail landscape, with experts from the likes of John Lewis, Liberty, M&S, Notonthehighstreet, the Design Museum and the V&A.
The Academy Live programme will offer practical advice and tackle future-thinking topics looking at the changing retail landscape in 2017.
On Sunday 15th Leanne Manfredi, the Programme Manager of the V&A: Participation and Co-design, will be giving her Keynote presentation. Leanne will be speaking on The Uses of Design in the 21st Century Museum, focussing on the resurgence of British craft and the wider social impact of design.
On Monday 16th, Emma Slate, Food & Drink Content Editor for M&S, will be giving her Keynote presentation: Trend to table – What you’ll be eating in 2017 and why you should care. Emma will sharing her industry insight to reveal the biggest and most surprising trends we can expect to see in food in 2017.
Rounding off the show on Tuesday 17th, Lucy Lines, Head of Visual Merchandising for John Lewis will be sharing her expertise in visual marketing - from how to create fantastic window dressing, to being on-trend in 2017. Lucy will be in conversation with Neil McLennan, former Deputy Editor of Living Etc, and the pair will be discussing The Role of Visual Merchandising in Brand Presentation. Lucy lives and breathes visual merchandising, and in our increasingly visual world she will be explaining how to keep one step ahead of the competition.
