Top Drawer preview: Maxwell & Williams

During the upcoming Top Drawer show, which runs January 15-17 at London’s Olympia, Maxwell & Williams will will make its show debut, delivering a number of exciting new ranges

Globally recognised for its affordable quality in designer homewares, including a wealth of tabletop, Maxwell & Williams will make its debut at Top Drawer S/S 2017, set to take place January 15-17.

The company will debut its new Paradiso collection, a unique range of tableware inspired by the beautiful plants of the tropics. Designed by Christopher Vine, Paradiso features a greenhouse of jungle foliage and the bird of paradise, with beautifully-decorated surfaces inside and out. Made of prestige porcelain, Paradiso is delicately finished with coloured detailing on rims and handles. The combination of richly-coloured illustration and blue silhouette patterns also makes it perfect to mix and match.

In addition, Maxwell & Williams will showcase its Elemental range, a collection of boards, serving platters and bowls, designed to emphasise the natural qualities of the materials - ash timber, marble and prestige porcelain – with a simple aesthetic and luxurious texture. Also on show will be the Artisan range, crackle-glazed dinnerware and dipped canisters inspired by artisanal European ceramics and featuring a handmade feel; and Diamante, contemporary glass cake stands and domes, ideal for high tea.
