During the upcoming Las Vegas Market, which runs January 22-26, Italian brand Mepra will introduce its flatware and finishes
At the fast-growing gift and home décor trade show Las Vegas Market, set to run January 22-26, Mepra will present its new products, including new flatware and a rose gold finish.
Leading manufacturer in Italy for high-end table and kitchenware, Mepra, a main supporter of the Made in Italy concept, has developed a series of collaborations with some of the most famous designers, as well as young emerging talents.
Mepra is renowned for using the best raw materials, along with perfect thickness and finishing, and also offers a high level of customisation for its products.
This year, Mepra has introduced a new Rose Gold finishing – stylish and refined, and featuring subtle pink tones, this finishing is not subject to oxidation, is scratch-resistant and 100 per cent dishwasher safe.
Mepra will also present Epoque Champagne, a 5-piece flatware place setting, that features a 4mm pattern on the highest quality 18/10 stainless steel coated with titanium for a champagne colour. The moulds for this pattern were made with a technology used by Mepra in the 1950s, produced by an artisan hammering each item and then copying the surfaces to produce the mould.

Las Vegas Market
The nation’s fastest-growing gift and home décor market and the leading furniture market in the western US will feature some 3,700+ resources at its Winter Market, set to run January 22-26, 2017, with more new resources, greater breadth and depth, exclusive collections across all categories, as well as market-exclusive programming including the Housewares Design Awards.
In Gourmet Housewares, Tabletop & Food Resources, on floors C1 and on C11, the industry’s most dynamic new destination for gift-oriented housewares, tabletop and speciality food, there will be six new showrooms featuring a combined total of more than 70 lines in 12,000 sq-ft, that’s “400+ gourmet resources among the Market’s 3,700+ total resources”, says Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers.
“We've enriched Las Vegas Market's tableware and kitchenware category to now include more vertical gourmet lines in addition to more gift-oriented resources. This growth mirrors the growing popularity of tabletop and housewares as a leading gift and lifestyle category.
“There also is a long-standing need for a tabletop and gourmet market in the western United States, and we have had great momentum and traction as we have addressed this void. As a result, Las Vegas Market now features a prevalence of resources that are in line with the western lifestyle, such as Black + Blum, Built, Canvas Home, Fishs Eddy, Ekobo, Life Factory, Lunares, Magenta, Reidel, Sir/Madam, S'well and Tar Hong.”
Five of the six new showrooms will premiere on C11 and includes: supplier of porcelain tableware, kitchenware, professional grade knives and Japanese giftware, Fuji Merchandise Corp., in a 241 sq-ft space; bambu home, manufacturer of eco-friendly dining and entertaining products, in its first permanent showroom, a 387 sq-ft space.
In addition, well-known gourmet housewares and tabletop supplier Sagaform USA is opening its first West Coast permanent showroom in a 569-sq-ft space on C1, while Dock 6 Pottery, which designs fused glass and pottery tabletop and coasters, makes its Market debut in the American Made Collective Showroom in C1106.
For its third Las Vegas Market, drinkware and dinnerware brand Magenta is relocating from C11, expanding on C into a 617 sq-ft space, while Vital Industries, producer of screen printed glassware, is moving to its first permanent national showroom, a 234 sq-foot space.
These newbies, among others, join gift-oriented housewares and tabletop brands, such as Alessi, B by Brandie, Canvas Home, Circa Asia, Eva Solo, Jura, Mepra, Match, Michael Aram, Reidel and Sea Stones, among others.
The newly redesigned website offers online tools to make Market preparation easier. The Online Catalog Gallery facilitates pre-Market product sourcing and shopping; and the online Market Planner assists buyers with advance preparation and appointment scheduling, while the #LVMKT app makes at-Market navigation easier and provides on-the-go access to Market information and schedules.
