Las Vegas Market resports showroom surge

Better Home Décor showrooms opening and expanding for the Las Vegas Summer Market

Las Vegas Market announced today that another wave of better home decor suppliers are opening and expanding showrooms on C5, the Market’s newest resource for high-end home décor, home textiles and accessories at the Summer 2015 Las Vegas Market, running August 2-6, 2015. Several new companies – including industry leading manufacturer Bobo Intriguing Objects – will debut on C5 this summer, bringing the number of companies represented on the floor to over 50. Sales agencies Moda Dora out of Southern California, and The Bianci Group out of the Northwest, have formed a new partnership that will occupy 16,000 square feet on the floor.

“Las Vegas Market ‘soft-launched’ the new C5 boutique showroom floor last January, six months earlier than originally scheduled, due to increasing interest from better home décor vendors and overall Market leasing momentum,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “The growth of the better home décor, textiles and accessories category will continue on C5 for the Summer Market, contributing further to Las Vegas Market’s position as the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States.”

BoBo Intriguing Objects will debut a 9,500-square-foot showroom for its unique furniture, textiles, home décor and accessories. Additional manufacturer showrooms debuting on C5 this August include Downright, opening a 980-square-foot showroom featuring its luxury European down and feather bedding and Australian wool accessories; and Loom & Mill, opening a 1,200-square-foot showroom for its bedding, decorative pillows, rugs, pet beds, throw blankets, furniture, lighting, mirrors, home decor and more.

In addition, two existing Las Vegas Market tenants will relocate to or expand on C5 for the Summer Market: Europe 2 You, relocating to a 1,637-square-foot showroom featuring its luxury European home décor and accessories provider; and Collective Home, a multi-line sales agency and charter C5 tenant, will double the size of its showroom to 4,490-square-feet to showcase leading brands, such as Annie Glass, Creative Candles, Flash Point Candles, Home Source, Ivy Guild, Kennebunk Home, Maxxi Design, Primitive Artisan, Shelley Kyle, VIETRI and Zestt.

These new and expanding resources join a stellar line-up of charter C5 tenants, including: Amity Home, Auskin, Catstudio, Chive, Dynasty, Gold Leaf Design, Mitchell Black, Pheromone, Pillow Bar, Sugarboo, Tommy Mitchell, Watson & Co., and Woven Workz. C5 is the fourth showroom floor dedicated to better home décor resource to launch at Las Vegas Market in the last three years – creating a comprehensive, multi-dimensional buying platform designed to appeal to today’s cross-category buyers and suppliers. Anchor tenants on B3, for instance, include Blue Ocean Traders, Brownstone, Gabby, GO Home, Interlude Home, Made Goods, Paragon and Wendover Art Group; C4 anchors include Andrew Martin, Bungalow 5, Jamie Young, Luna Bella, Moe’s Home, Mr. Brown, Natural Curiosities, Oly, Palacek and Surya; and C3 anchors include Bliss Studio, Classic Home, CODARUS, Design Legacy, Leftbank Art, Light & Living, Selamat and World’s Away.

The redesigned C5 and other highlights debuting at the Summer Market represent the culmination of Las Vegas Market’s three-year strategic growth plan, a phased realignment of showroom spaces designed to create an unparalleled presentation of furniture, gift and home décor in the western United States.

In addition to the continuing growth of C5, other highlights of Summer Market include a celebration of the Market’s 10-year anniversary; the creation of C11, a new showroom floor for gourmet housewares, tabletop and specialty food; the premiere of the casual furniture launch at Las Vegas Market, with 250,000 square feet of permanent showrooms and temporary exhibit space on C12 and C13; and the repositioning and reimagining of the Market’s temporary exhibits as The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market, a dramatic, freestanding, climate controlled temporary tradeshow space showcasing some 90,000 net square feet of innovative and emerging gift and home décor resources.
