MAISON & OBJET Preview: Artel

Artel will present its new collections when it showcases at the upcoming remodeled September edition of Maison & Objet Paris

Globally renowned producer of luxury crystal couture Artel will pay homage to the remarkable beauty of the Arctic landscape with its new Arctic glassware collection, which includes six Arctic-themed motifs, including the Polar Bear, Penguin, Walrus, Snow Owl, Fox and Eskimo Ice Fisher.

The subject of each motif is hand-engraved in breathtakingly life-like detail and depicted atop a stylised, cubistic ice formation. The bottom of each mouthblown piece features a finely wrought image o a jumping fish.

It’s offered as a complete set of six glasses (one with each motif) in a wide range of vibrant colours, individual glasses or sets of a single motif are also available. www.artelglass.com

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Maison & Objet Paris is known as the world’s leading design event, with its luxurious, innovative and design-led offerings.

Today, more than half of Maison Paris visitors come from outside France and are responsible for around 80 per cent of the event’s transactions, redefining the market.

For the upcoming show, Maison Paris has redistributed its various sectors in the show’s Halls, delivering a brand new structure that fosters synergies and anticipates consumer trends.

The new layout and floor plan means 70 per cent of exhibitors will be relocated. Cook+design will now be spread over Halls 5A and 6, now! Design a vivre will join scenes d’interieur in Hall and textile will join the expanded interior decoration sector, which will also encompass the ethnic chic.MIC sector.
