About Maison & Objet, Paris
The September edition of Maison & Objet, Paris, due to be held September 8-12, will finally unveil its completely newly reconfigured Hall 6.

Aimed at delivering a more inspiring and stimulating experience, as well as helping exhibitors reach new markets, the new Hall 6 is shaped around three major sectors, Cook&Share, Smart Gift, and Home&Fashion, delivering a finer segmentation, bold strategic choices, and at-a-glance overview of the offering, all contributing to a renewed retail experience.

For the tableware and kitchen market, for example, exhibitors can attract specialised retail businesses looking to broaden their offering and non-specialised household appliances retailers interested in selling more affordable products, from small accessories to edibles (gourmet gift).

“The retail business has evolved and the segmentation is now much more fluid,” says Jean-Luc, adding that today “most shops carry mixed offerings, for instance, fashion boutiques selling home accessories” and “shops have become places where customers can spend time, and make new experiences, where stories are told.

The Cook&Share sector is focused on the story of sharing fine dining experiences, the art of cooking, entertaining and enjoying good food, Distributed between Halls 5 & 6, it presents a wide lifestyle offering, including kitchen equipment, tableware, fine foods and gourmet gifts.

For tableware, brands are set to include Serax, Sabre, Baci Milano, Koziol, Mario Luca Giusti, Creative Tops, Salt & Pepper, Dunoon, KitchenCraft, LSA International, Black+Blum, Leonardo, Rosenthald, Sambonet, Mepra, Pillivuyt, Cutipol, IVV, La Rochere, Loveramics, Alessi, ASA Selection, Revol, Guzzini, Amefa, Medard de Noblat, Costa Nova, Herdmar, Jean Dubost, Gien, Julia Knight, Cristal de Paris, Degrenne, Porcel and Porland, among others.

Highlights of Hall include a new easy-to-read floorplan; transition areas of increased visit efficiency; a Retail Space delivering a series of 20-minute workshop-debate events for retail professsionals; Party Time, for all entertaining essentials, including porcelain and crystal brands; and Gourmet Gift, spotlighting tasty gifts.
