Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, Paris design show Maison & Objet opens its design-friendly doors today
The world's leading design and decor event, Maison & Objet Paris will be celebrating its 20th anniversary when it opens its design-friendly doors today - Friday January 23rd, running through Tuesday, January 27th.
For 20 years, this large lifestyle platform has become a key meeting place for professionals in the art of living, providing retailers, buyers and interior designers with a 360-degree product offering across the categories of decoration, design, furniture, tableware and textiles.
This five-day twice-a-year show in Paris (there is now an annual M&O in Singapore and in Miami, the latter debuting this year) pulls many international visitors - of 83,272 professional visitors in the January 2014 Paris show, 40,690 were international, all attracted by its equally international exhibitor offerings - of its 3,245 exhibitors in January 2014, 1,272 were international.
Maison & Objet is known for its trend-led, design-forward, high-end offerings, ideas and inspirations with sectors including Home Textiles, Ethnic Chic, Craft, Home Accessories and Cook+Design, the latter strong in tabletop. The Cook+Design sector, covering all of Hall 3, celebrates the 'art of dining', with some 270 exhibitors, including LSA International, Gien, Loveramics, Jersey Pottery, Michael Aram, Porcel, Kinto and Richard Ginori, Moser Crystal, Hering Berlin, Blomus, Artel, Fuerstenberg and L'Objet, among others.
Other tabletop brands not to miss at M&O Paris include: Cumbria Crystal, Augarten, Legle, Ittala, La Rochere, ASA Selection, Churchill, Costa Nova, Tognana, Portmeirion Group, Sabre and Pilliyut.
