Top Drawer preview: Stahl
At design-led show London-based show Top Drawer, which runs September 2-6, Swedish ceramic company Stahl will make its UK debut
At the upcoming Top Drawer London, set to take place September 2-6, premium porcelain specialists Porcel will reveal a new show location, alongside unveiling its new winter decorations.
Stahl’s philosophy is simple – throwing a party should be easy and fun, whether mingling in the garden or sitting down around a beautifully-laid table, a spontaneous gathering with friends and family or a meticulously planned event.
With this in mind, Stahl has produced a collection of tableware ceramics that immediately creates a warm ambiance.
Both Swedish and exotic, it finds it inspiration in oriental patterns and ornaments and comes in several glazes, which you can mix and match for unique looks.
The first Sthal collection, Arabesque, cleverly combines both Swedish and exotic influences. Finding inspiration in oriental pattern and ornament, the range of bowls, plates and platters are available in a selection of Scandi-influenced hues and have been designed to mix and match with old and new favorites.
All pieces are manufactured in white stoneware clay, which is fired in very high temperatures, making it practical, durable and dishwasher-proof.
