Zuchex launches Buyer Matching Programme

Hundreds of one-to-one meetings already confirmed for Zuchex Housewares, Gift and Home Electricals Fair, set to take place September 21-24

A new feature at Zuchex Housewares, Gift and Home electrical’s Fair this year, the much-anticipated Buyer Matching Programme supported by Zucder, aims to boost international and local trade by matching buyers with the right suppliers.

With a full four-day agenda from September 21-24, 2017, Zuchex will gather over 35,000 industry professionals in Istanbul to network and do business.

To enhance the attendee experience and to assist buyers in finding suppliers specific to their business requirements, Zuchex has launched a new complimentary service – the Buyer Matching Programme supported by Zucder.

The pre-event service will allow attendees to use their sourcing criteria to specify what their business objectives at Zuchex are, allowing all attendees to search, connect and pre-arrange meetings with each other.

By booking meetings through this service, exhibitors and buyers will receive a personal schedule of their confirmed meetings before they attend the event. At the exhibition, they will be greeted by a member of the team to personally introduce them to their business matches. Meetings will take place on stands and a number of private tables will be available within a quiet meeting area; The Buyer Matching Lounge, at the event; attendees will be able reserve these private tables to hold their meetings.

Since its launch, pre-registered attendees have taken advantage of this new complimentary system and have already started to arrange over 600 meetings.
Thousands of housewares industry professionals from companies such as Has Cevher, Evren Mutfak, Avşar Emaye, Alco Papilla, Bora Plastik, and Fakir have already confirmed their attendance and started to use the service.

Speaking about the programme GM Fatih Bagci says: “Assisting buyers in having critical face-to-face business connections with 700 leading exhibitors at no cost is vital to the success of the event. Buyer Matches are generated for specific buyer-exhibitor needs, then a pre-scheduled meeting will be arranged for selected buyers paired with the exhibiting companies.”

"I strongly believe that the programme will greatly benefit all the exhibitors and professionals in establishing valuable business partnerships with locals in Turkey and the surrounding regions" Fatih adds.

Zucder (DIT) is sponsoring this year’s programme, and also actively promoting the Buyer Matching Programme, where Turkish brands will be connected to some of the world’s most high profile and influential buyers from priority markets such as South America, The Middle East, Africa and Europe.

This buyer-matching scheme is designed to raise awareness of Turkish brands to a global audience and enable manufacturers to compete for sales to international markets and secure export wins.

Some of the most iconic brands and trendsetters in the housewares industry hail from Turkey - so it’s no surprise there is high demand for Turkish designed and manufactured product.

Ertuğrul Erdoğan, head of Zucder says: “Turkey sits at the centre of the world’s housewares industry and we are proud to be sponsoring the buyer matching programme at such a prestigious event, showcasing the very best of Turkish product design.

Through this buyer-matching programme we are giving Turkish manufacturers a tailored fit with their counterparts abroad, with the scope to boost trade by millions of lira.”
