The leading producer of beautifully distinctive glass and ceramics, Abigails, introduced a new line of dinnerware called the Splash Collection at this month's NY NOW market, which took place from August 16-20.
The collection is handmade in Portugal by fine ceramic craftsmen and its unique feature is that each piece is a work of art in it self as the splash pattern varies on each piece.
Various shades of blue & white paint are “splashed” on to each piece to create the pattern of that piece. This group mixes nicely with Abigails Elena and Casa Bianca dinnerware patterns.
”The blue & white trend is everywhere today. We see it in everything from home décor to fashion and has quickly become a favorite of both our more traditional and contemporary or modern customers” Abbie Voelker, Abigails Founder and Product Development head.
The complete collection consists of a Dinner Plate, a Dessert Plate, a Soup Bowl, a mug and three serving pieces, a oval platter, a large, round bowl, and a pitcher. The pitcher is 10.75” high and has a very pronounced handle that can also double as a vase.
