High demand for BHETA’s MTB day with Homebase
A chance to interact with UK homewares retailer Homebase has proven a hit with BHETA's November’s retail engagement session fully subscribed
An opportunity for housewares suppliers to interact with kitchen, bathroom, furniture and homewares retailer, Homebase, outside of the usual buying channels has taken off in a big way with appointments for BHETA’s November MTB event fully subscribed.
The event, which is the latest in BHETA’s very successful retail engagement series is being used by Homebase to kick start its Autumn / Winter 2016 range review.
With over 300 stores serving 64 million customers plus a rapidly growing internet business, the retailer is looking for innovative products and short term promotional opportunities across cookshop, tabletop, small kitchen appliances, utility, laundry, cleaning, home and furniture and home accessories.
The BHETA and Homebase Meet The Buyer day is taking place on November 26 at the Holiday Inn in Milton Keynes. All companies attending will be allocated a 20 minute appointment with a maximum of two people from each company will be allowed to attend.
BHETA Home Enhancement Director, Will Jones explained, “We anticipated significant demand for this Homebase event. The majority of applications have been from potential new suppliers, which is great, plus a number of existing Homebase suppliers to taking part as well. These occasions are always a great opportunity to sell in new ranges, packaging or promotions.”
