New showrooms to open at New York Tabletop Show

Just in time for the upcoming New York Tabletop Show in April, two luxury Italian brands open showrooms at Forty One Madison and three other companies undergo expansions and renovations

Two Iuxury Italian brands have landed at Forty One Madison and will be debuting new showrooms for the upcoming New York Tabletop Market, April 4 – 7. For both Ercolano and Mepra, their debut at Forty One Madison represents a strategic move to expand business in the North American market.

Ercolano is renowned for its masterfully hand-crafted inlaid wood boxes and furniture, and is especially esteemed for its iconic tabletop designs. Founded in Sorrento, Italy nearly a century ago, the family-owned company has a rich history that includes creating lavish furnishings for European royalty.

“As a beloved European staple, we are thrilled to be joining the roster of great brands at Forty One Madison and look forward to furthering our global presence,” says Orlando Ercolano, company president. The 1,000-square foot Ercolano showroom is on the 22th floor.

Mepra, the Italian factory owned by the Prandelli family, has manufactured sleek, modern flatware, cookware, serveware, barware and tabletop accessories since 1927. Its collections will be on display in the company’s 1,500-square foot showroom on the 22nd floor.

"Mepra currently enjoys an established global business in food service and hospitality, but we are excited to expand our brand as a household name in the U.S. market,” said sales manager Luca Prandelli. “With our new post at Forty One Madison, we look forward to bridging new relationships and building our consumer awareness for Mepra in the Americas.”
