Gifts Today magazine adds bridal registry

Luxury tabletop designer Caskata Artisanal Home has added a gift  and bridal registry with easy online monogramming to its website

Tableware company Caskata Artisanal Home has added a gift and bridal registry to its website at This much sought-after functionality enables brides and others not only to register for dinnerware, serveware, and gifts, but also to personalise items they wish to include on their gift registries.

“Brides are, of course, an important customer for us – so is anyone looking for a great wedding gift,” says owner, Shawn Laughlin. “Naturally, with the launch of our new website last November, an online gift & bridal registry was something we knew we wanted to provide. I’m pleased to say that it’s built and that we are already seeing brides register in significant numbers – even though it only went live last week.”

“It was a bit of a technical challenge,” adds marketing director Francine Shannon, “because we wanted to make sure that all the functionality of our new website would be available for registry items – and that meant monogramming. We offer 17 styles of monogram on 15 of our patterns so we really needed the registry to accommodate that personalization. With the help of a couple of great developers, we’ve built an online registry that can technically handle even our most complicated monograms.”

Upon launching their website in November, Caskata saaid they viewed it “as a living tool with constant opportunities for improved interaction with customers and colleagues, and, as such, enhancements will be ongoing.”

Their Online Bridal & Gift Registry is an early testament to that promise. Watch for new sections and features highlighting the company’s on-site studio, its designers and decorators, and its new product announcements.
