Churchill announces the appointment of David O'Connor as its new CEO
Churchill is pleased to announce the appointment of David O’Connor as its new CEO. Following the retirement of Andrew Roper, after more than 40 years service, David O’Connor has taken the key role at the company.
The appointment is the first time since 1923 that the role has been held outside of the Roper family. Testament to the faith put in him, David was personally selected for the role by predecessor Andrew to continue his legacy. Having been a member of the board since 1999 David has an in depth knowledge of the business culture and has been instrumental in developing the strategies that have driven the company forward.
Speaking about the appointment Dave states: “What a privilege to be appointed CEO. Andrew has handed over the reins at a really exciting time, leaving the business in a strong position for the future.
