Coutellerie Nontronnaise new website
A brand-new bi-lingual website for French cutlery and tableware manufacturers Coutellerie Nontronnaise
Operating since 1653 and renowned for producing traditional Nontron folding knives with boxwood handles, as well as a range of more contemporary knives, cutlery and tableware articles, Coutellerie Nontronnaise now presents its products, history and know-how via a brand new bilingual (French-English) website: www.coutellerie-nontronnaise.com
The website offers a wide range of folding knives, tableware items and accessories, all of which can be purchased online, and delivered worldwide (or very nearly!).
Traditional Nontron knives, with their woodburned boxwood handles, are now sold alongside many other contemporary creations, some of which are signed by such great designers as Christian Ghion and Olivier Gagnère.
This year, Coutellerie Nontronnaise presents a collection of cutlery with multi-coloured handles made from a cutting-edge material: compressed fabric. This composite material is made from fabric (natural cotton) dyed and mixed with resin. The advantage of this technique is that it can be used to offer a very wide range of original colours, and knives can be washed in a dishwasher.
The handles are already available in nine colours: purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, beige, black, and chocolate brown, soon to be joined by pink and burgundy.
Designed for daily use, these knives and items of cutlery are a combination of the traditional elegance of Coutellerie Nontronnaise signature blades and the highly colourful modern touch of compressed fabric.
