Crystalex introduces 100-plus glassware decorations
Czech glass producers Crystalex has unveiled a huge range of exciting decors for 2014
With a rich and long tradition of thousands of years of Bohemian glassmaking under its high-quality belt, Crystalex designs, manufactures and sells a vast range of glassware for the home, for hotels and restaurants worldwide.
Well-known for its intricate and beautiful decorations on its glassware, Crystalex has debuted a huge range of exquisite decorations for 2014.
Crystalex is expert at pantograph etching, a traditional decorative technique, which has been used in its glassworks for more than 150 years. New decorations in pantograph etching have been revealed this year on a number of new glass shapes, such as Victoria, Gloria and Elizabeth.
Diamond engraving is another technique used at Crystalex and this year sees more than 20 brand-new decors debut. There are both modern decorations, as well as traditional ones using gold or other colours.
The company also uses screen printing, decals, sandblasting and spraying as techniques to decorate glassware. In addition to decorated stemware and vases, some decors have been presented on a wide range of objects – tumblers, vases, stemware.
