New group chairman of Deshoulieres
Stefano Basile has been announced as the new group chairman of French porcelain company Deshoulieres group
In April 2014, Stefano Basile succeeded Patrick Moroux as Chairman of the Deshoulières porcelain company.
Founded in 1826, the Deshoulieres group has three production sites for table porcelain and kitchen porcelain.
Stefano Basile worked for Bain&Co, a strategy consultancy firm before spending nearly 10 years as Sales Director’ with Lladro, the decorative porcelain ornaments company located in Valencia, Spain.
Stefano Basile has already identified various directions for work at the group – these include:
‐ Attracting customers who, in both France and abroad, like French know‐how and design. Indeed, all the group’s products boast the Origine France Garantie label.
‐ Positioning the Deshoulières brand in the luxury segment and making Apilco an urban brand for kitchen and table.
‐ Renewing retail strategy with the opening of new stores in France and abroad.
‐ Developing the firm’s gifts and ornaments offer.
