Royal visit to Ambiente 2012

Ambiente Frankfurt will get the royal stamp of approval, as the show celebrates its first year with the royalty from its chosen feature country.

Princess Benedikte of Denmark is  to visit Danish exhibitors and the special presentation by Dansk Design Center on 13 February, as part of the shows focus on Danish design during Ambiete 2012.

This is the first year the show has shosted the Ambiente Country Partner Programme, for which the focal point will be a special presentation on sustainable design in Galleria 1 on Monday 13th.

Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark will meet renowned Danish designers and companies during a special tour of the fair. Subsequently, she will visit the special presentation.

About the visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte, Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt, says, "This is a great honour for us and will be one of the highlights of Ambiente 2012. The visit of the sister of the Danish Queen shows clearly that Frankfurt is 'the place to be' when it comes to design, innovation and sustainability in the consumer-goods sector."
