Fiesta announces retired colour for 2017
Fiesta Dinnerware has announced its returned colour for 2017 as Paprika
Perhaps just as anticipated as Fiesta® Dinnerware’s new colour each year, is the announcement of which color will retire. Paprika will retire in 2017 to make way for Fiesta’s new colour of the year.
The new colour will be announced on January 10, 2017, on the first day of The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market®. Fiesta Dinnerware, the colorful and iconic Made in America brand, will be exhibiting in Keystone Marketing’s expanded showroom Building 2 #901A on the 9th floor.
Along with the retirement of Paprika, Fiesta has discontinued the following pieces from its collection:
· Square Bowl (922)
· Square Mug (923)
· Soap/Lotion Dispenser (1432)
Fiesta Dinnerware will be taking orders from retailers for Paprika until December 31, 2016 for delivery by March 1, 2017. On March 31, 2017, Paprika will be added to the “inactive availability” list of colours.
The Square Bowl, Square Mug and Soap/Lotion Dispenser officially retired as of September 1, 2016, however orders will be accepted if inventory is available.
Paprika and the above items will be available to consumers at better department stores, independent retailers, at .coms and on www.fiestafactorydirect.com
while supplies last.
Fiesta Dinnerware was originally designed by Frederick Hurten Rhead in 1936. It was discontinued in 1973 and made resurgence in 1986, marking the brand’s 50th anniversary and the continuation of a contemporary inspired colour palette. The new color announcement in 2017 will be the 49th colour in the brand’s history. A staple in the Fiesta colour spectrum for several years, Paprika was introduced in 2010.
