Gibson celebrates consumer report
A recent consumer report cites quality and value of Gibon’s Pioneer Woman Cookware
A recent Consumer Reports review (www.yahoo.com/news/pioneer-woman-cookware-no-frontier-183710646.html) of the Pioneer Woman Vintage Speckle 10-piece cookware set offers plaudits for the set’s quality and value.
The set is part of the Pioneer Woman Collection, a collaboration between New York Times bestselling cookbook author, award-winning blogger and Food Network TV star Reed Drummond and industry-leading tabletop and housewares manufacturer Gibson Overseas, Inc.
The report from the trusted and independent experts at Consumer Reports found, “Of the 14 non-stick cookware sets we tested, the Pioneer Woman cookware set was the only one to score excellent in both cooking evenness and non-stick durability.”
In particular, after rubbing the cookware’s non-stick surface 2,000 times with steel wool the report found “the non-stick surface withstood the punishment.”
The review also referenced the cookware’s great value. Of the sets tested, only three scored better and all of them were “exponentially more” than the Pioneer Woman set.
“We are pleased to see this recognition of the effort we have put into sourcing the best materials and production facilities for Pioneer Woman cookware,” says Gibson’s VP of supply chain Randall Davidson.
The multi-category Pioneer Woman Collection has just launched a new fall/harvest collection with a holiday collection on the near horizon that will continue to offer fans more of Drummond’s signature style inspired by life on her family’s Oklahoma ranch.
