New director at Gien
Pascal d’Halluin becomes new manager director at French brand Faiencerie de Gien
After over 10 years managing brands at l’Oréal, Pascal d’Halluin has specialised in the repositioning of brands by directing successively Lee Cooper France, Lacoste France and, more recently, Cacharel. He became the new Managing Director at the Faïencerie de Gien in May 2014.
Mr d’Halluin has already identified 3 directions for development at the Faïencerie:
* Re-launching the brand by positioning it “top end but accessible” in order to attract a younger clientele using collaboration with contemporary designers.
* Developing the offer of decorative items: lamps, bathroom accessories and furniture.
* Developing international sales: the aim being to increase significantly the share of turnover achieved through exports, with priority destinations such as the United States, South America and the Middle East.
Pascal d’Halluin wants to ensure that everything is in place for a worthy celebration of the Faïencerie de Gien’s bicentenary in 2021.
