Hudsons unveil new ecommerce website

Fine bone china manufacturers Hudsons of England renew website based on feedback from customers

Following a much-deserved New Year investment, Staffordshire-based fine bone china pottery firm, Hudsons of England (formerly Hudson and Middleton) has unveiled a brand new ecommerce website.

“We have recently undergone a slight rebrand to emphasise our key attributes of 100 per cent British manufacturing and quality fine bone chinaware,” explains Mike Shirley, Hudsons of England Managing Director. “It made sense to bring our website inline with the changes and to carry out some much needed development work with new features.”

The new secure website went live on March 19. A greatly improved range of products can be found with enhanced search functionality and category listings. Visitors to the site can now delve into the background and inspirations of each designer artist, alongside their full range of superior illustrations and fine bone chinaware.

Mike commented further: “Much of the additional information we looked to include was based on collating feedback from existing customers and retailers.”
The website will feature regularly updated news pages with designer and in-house design showcasing along with the opportunity for avid collectors to bag a bargain with ex-line promotional ware.

Hudsons are looking to expand by 100 per cent over the next few years, which is excellent news for traditional craftsmanship and the local economy with new facilities and equipment already being introduced to handle increased production plans including a long anticipated enamel colour spray facility.

Formerly Hudson and Middleton, Hudsons of England is one of the few remaining fine bone china manufacturers based in the heart of the Potteries in Stoke on Trent, England. Founded in 1875, the Company is not only one of the oldest potteries in England, but also almost unique in still operating from its original Grade II listed building.
