Jane Foster launches Animal Magic range
In collaboration with Make International, award-winning designer Jane Foster unveils new ceramics, tableware and kitchen textiles range
Award-winning designer Jane Foster is welcoming her new Animal Magic collection of ceramics, tableware and kitchen textiles to the market this October.
Designed in collaboration with Make International’s head of design Keith Brymer Jones who has starred as a lead judge on BBC2’s The Great Pottery Throw Down, the new collection is vibrant and cheerful.
Bright backgrounded items featuring a monochrome animal or bird, this range is distinctively Jane Foster but excitingly different from anything seen before. The new collection including mugs, egg cups, coasters, placemats and tea towels will be launched online at www.makeinternational.com from October as well as independent stores.
Each animal in the Jane Foster Animal Magic range was lovingly designed in Jane’s studio in South Devon, UK. The inside workings of Jane’s studio can be seen in her video… Hello! Jane Foster – Fun with Fabric: https://vimeo.com/72486527About Jane Foster
Jane started screen printing many years ago and takes a great deal of her inspiration from Scandinavian designs. She also loves designs from the 50s and 60s and has a large personal collection of fabrics and ceramics from this period. Nowadays she concentrates on her colourful character designs which strongly appeal to adults and children alike. Her style is bold, simple and happy.
Jane says that working with Make International’s Keith Brymer Jones to design the Animal Magic Range was a "smooth, fun process" and "one of the most natural collaborations that she’s ever experienced".
