Libbey delivers The Artistry Collection

Featuring Schoenwald dinnerware, Spiegelau and Nachmann glassware and Reed & Barton flatware, The Artistry Collection reveals true fine dining masterpieces

The desire for a fine dining experience without the formal atmosphere that accompanied it in the past has inspired a new, upscale-casual dining segment. Capture this refined yet polished casual appeal with exquisite tableware from the Artistry Collection™ from Libbey® Foodservice, which includes SCHÖNWALD dinnerware, Spiegelau and Nachtmann glassware, and Reed & Barton flatware.

“We understand that today’s customers are looking for the elements of a fine dining experience – menu innovation, inviting tabletop, exclusive wine and cocktail offerings, and high-quality service – in a more casual and relaxed setting,” said Susan J. Dountas, director of foodservice marketing for Libbey Inc. “Although the setting may have changed, the appreciation of artful presentation of food and beverage remains at the heart of fine dining.”

Visits to fine-dining restaurants have rebounded from double-digit losses suffered during the recession, as the segment has evolved to become more relevant to today’s consumer and deliver on value expectations.

The Artistry Collection inspires true fine dining masterpieces and provides a rich and varied palette of elements to enhance your guests’ appreciation of your culinary artistry.

A signature feature of Grace dinnerware by SCHÖNWALD (pictured) is its smooth flow from striking lines to fading ones that blur the borders, inviting chefs to imagine new culinary interpretations. Add a dramatic touch to the delicate Continental White™ porcelain dinnerware with select pieces featuring a beautiful plum-colored gradient accent on the rim.

The unique bowl shape of the Spiegelau Hybrid glassware collection is designed to highlight the flavors and aromas of wine varietals and spirits, creating a true multi-sensory tasting experience. The pattern includes five styles of stemware, including white wine, Bordeaux, Burgundy, champagne and cognac.

The ultra-contemporary design of East End – Satin flatware from Reed & Barton is a stunning accent to the finest tabletops. The 10-piece collection features a beveled edge with gentle slope for a stylish yet understated feel.

“The tabletop plays an important role in creating a memorable dining experience. Chefs’ and restaurateurs’ close attention to every detail and nuance of fine dining, from cocktails to dessert, culminates at the table,” Dountas added.
