LSA International wins two awards for Stack
LSA International has secured the Good Design Award and the Design Plus Award for its innovative Stack Collection
The Stack Collection from LSA International has secured two design awards, including Chicago’s Good Design Award 2015 and Ambiente’s Design Plus 2016 award.
An innovative collection of stackable vases, each piece boasts a cylindrical form, collar shaped neck and indented base that allows the vases to be arranged in a column or individually.
The Good Design Award, run by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, remains the oldest and most recognized programme for design excellence worldwide.
For 2015, the Museum received submissions from several thousand of the world’s leading manufacturers and industrial and graphic design firms from around the world representing the most important and critical mass of influential corporations worldwide in the design industry from over 47 countries.
In November, juries met in New York and selected over 900 product designs and graphics from over 38 nations worthy of the Good Design Award 2015 for their Design Excellence and LSA International’s Stack Collection was one of them.
The Stack Collection also secured the Ambiente Design Plus 2016 award. The jury met on December 8, 2015, and selected 27 winning products from 23 companies. There were 418 product entries from 178 exhibitors in total.
The Stack Collection – Vase Trio is among the award winning products.
These products will be presented in a special show during Ambiente 2016 in the Galleria 1 between hall 8 and 9. The winning products will be showcased in the Design Plus 2016 catalogue handed out at the exhibition.
