Nikko has appointed Howard Charles Inc. to handle nationwide sales for
Nikko's current Senior Vice President Tage Strom has agreed to remain to affect a seamless transition, but will then leave Nikko to pursue other opportunities.
Nikko has recently shifted its strategy and added more luxury collections, capitalising on its expertise in fine bone china production. Going forward the company will reduce its focus on ironstone and porcelain, to specialise in fine bone china for retail and for hotels & restaurants.
Through Howard Charles’s existing network of regional sales representatives, Nikko will benefit from increased sales coverage, access to a broader retail presence and participation at regional trade shows. “We are excited to begin this next phase in Nikko’s more than 100 year history and believe appointing Howard Charles Inc. is a significant step”, said Kenji Anzai, President and CEO of Nikko Ceramics Inc. “As a recognised innovator and leader of fine bone china manufacturing Nikko recognises consumers’ longing for authentic and well-designed products.
