Villeroy & Boch's products match colours of the year

Pantone has named two pastels the 2016 Colors of the Year and Villeroy & Boch has the perfect products to match

The 2016 Colors of the Year have been named – and for the first time ever the Pantone Color Institute has named two tones the colours of the year: the clear, light sky blue Serenity and the antique pink tone, Rose Quartz.

Both colours will not only be found in the fashion of the coming year, but also in interior design and décor.

For example, at Villeroy & Boch. The lifestyle brand is offering several collections that bring the trendy pastel colours of pink and sky blue to life in a way that’s contemporary and fresh.

Launched earlier this year, Villeroy & Boch's gift article collection Rose Cottage (pictured) invites relaxed enjoyment with fine porcelain in these airy pastel tones. The romantic décor with rose petals is especially light and airy.

The dish décor Floreana also brings colourful highlights to a table setting. The gentle watercolour blue and red give the floral pattern a confident modern/retro attitude, inspired by historical copperplate engraving.

Stained glass is also trending: the cup collection Dressed Up in gentle pink brings discreet colours and an easy shabby-chic style into the day-to-day.

In spring 2016 two new colours for the Mini Vases will be available: Lovely Rose and Mellow Blue, which match this Pantone pastel trend perfectly.
