The Sophie Conran cookware collection from Portmeirion Group has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards 2015
British tableware manufacturer, Portmeirion Group, is delighted to announce that its Sophie Conran cookware collection has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards 2015.
The stunning 12inch ceramic coated cast aluminium frying pan, from the Sophie Conran for Portmeirion cookware collection, beat off tough competition to make the shortlist for this year’s ‘Cookware’ category.
Now in its sixth year the annual Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards aim to reward and celebrate the top retailers, products and individuals of the housewares industry. After the success of the 2014 awards, this year is set to be a key event in the industry’s calendar.
Stoke-on-Trent based Portmeirion Group launched the new range of award winning Sophie Conran for Portmeirion cookware earlier this spring. Perfect for modern day living the new cookware collection compliments the Sophie Conran for Portmeirion tableware and giftware collection and utilises the latest technology of non-stick coatings, bodies that are designed for optimum heat distribution and elegant handles that are integrated into the body to create a high quality, unique and very functional range.
Phil Atherton, Group sales and marketing director at Portmeirion Group said: “We’re delighted to have reached the final of the Housewares Conference and Innovation Awards and for our Sophie Conran for Portmeirion range to have been recognised for its innovation in cookware. There’s no doubt about the success of the Sophie Conran range and we can understand why. With both style and practicality the frying pan has been a great hit with the customers”.
The Housewares Conference and Innovation award ceremony will take place in Berkshire on the 22nd of April, where the winners of each category will be revealed.
