Katie Alice Retro Collection debuts
Creative Tops has unveiled the latest range to come from vintage tabletop designer Katie Alice
One of the UK's leading tableware, kitchenware and home decor organizations, Creative Tops, presents Pretty Retro, the latest range from vintage tableware designer Katie Alice.
A trip to Stockholm last year inspired the new collection that sees Katie Alice move away from her traditionally pretty designs in favour of 1950s square handles and hand-drawn block shapes.
"I fell in love with Scandinavian interiors a few years ago and after my most recent trip to Stockholm, I decided to try out a more Scandinavian colour palette with my next range. I've basically made a collection that I wanted to have in my own kitchen," said Katie Alice.
To accompany the new designs, Katie Alice has brought in some new products to range. New stove-top espresso makers and espresso cups sit amongst some Katie Alice classics including teapots, pouring jugs, flour shakers and cutters.
"The real hero pieces are the large ceramic jars in retro shapes with wooden lids. This really is a range that's easy to use every day in your kitchen. And mine!"
You can see this range and others on the Creative Tops stand - Hall 3, Stand 3G23 - at the upcoming Autumn Fair at the NEC, Birmingham in the UK, from September 6-9, 2015.
