Rosanna to create memorabilia for Pope visit
Award-winning tableware designer Rosanna selected to make original pieces for Pope Francis' visit, including porcelain mugs, trays and votive holders featuring family messages
Rosanna will create commemorative pieces for Pope Francis' upcoming Philadelphia. The Pope will be attending the Pontifical Council's World Meeting of Families (WMOF) September 22-25 and the Papal Visit September 26-27.
Original pieces designed by Rosanna for the Pope's visit will include porcelain mugs, trays and votive holders featuring messages about the importance of family. WMOF organises commissioned designs from Rosanna after seeing commemorative products made by Rosanna at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York City.
"We are very humbled and honored to design for such an important world leader who carries a message of hope and peace for all," says president and art director, Rosanna Bowles. The September WMOF summit will mark Pope Francis' first papal visit to the US, making him the fourth Pope to visit the country in the nation's history.
