Schoenwald turns to archives
Fusing nostalgia with contemporary style, hospitality tableware manufacturer Schoenwald delivers retro Shabby Chic decors
Retro, vintage, ethnic, simply enchanting: these are just a few of the first – and lasting – positive impressions of the new Shabby Chic decors by Schoenwwald.
Here, the porcelain specialist unites zeitgeist nostalgia with the modern formal vocabulary of professional tableware design.
First presented at this year’s Ambiente and Intergastra spring fairs, Shabby Chic has met with an enthusiastic response internationally. Additionally, the decors will be presented at Internorga (Hall B7, Stand 500). With this new concept, Schoenwald seamlessly builds on the success of the natural, rustic authenticity of its Pottery decor programme.
Shabby Chic conveys homely feelings, recalls fond memories and tells heart-warming stories with a programme of eight different decor variations in shades of blue and grey or stone-look, both with and without ornaments.
The captivating character of the Shabby Chic decor world can easily find appropriate counterparts in settings from trendsetting bistros to premium restaurants and hotels. Furthermore, the new looks also create fascinating and eye-catching accents when used in combination with the sheer elegance of pure white porcelain.
The handmade look of the Shabby CHic decor styles has been implemented in a variety of Schoenwwald collections. Especially when realised on the recently launched coupe plate series, the new decor reveals almost countless new opportunities for the creative presentation of fine foods that bring a shine to the eyes of master-chefs.
Despite its stoneware look, the entire range shares the familiar, high quality of Schoenwald hard porcelain with the Made in Germany seal and is naturally dishwasher-proof.
