New coloured surfaces at Schonwald
Porcelain specialist Schonwald picks up on the current trend for greater individuality and natural authenticity with its new Pottery decors
German porcelain specialist Schonwald has picked up on the current trend for greater individuality and natural authenticity with its new ‘Pottery’ decors, which have a ceramic look and feel.
Vibrant shades meet natural colours, lending the porcelain an entirely new, natural aesthetic, whereby the consistently hand-made look makes each piece unique.
‘Pottery’ thus provides creative scope for the attractive presentation of food – from Asian to bistro.
There are three different decor concepts that allow the interplay of different colours and surfaces: ‘Pottery Unique’ is delicately speckled in light grey, dark grey, blue and red; ‘Pottery Jade’ has an impressively smooth and elegant look; ‘Pottery Frosted Black’ has a slate look with a matte surface.
‘Pottery’ is being offered for selected pieces from the popular Schonwald collections, Unlimited and Fine Dining.
This latest decoration is also being applied to the WellCome service whose individualistic shapes go perfectly with the hand- made ceramic look. In this way ‘Pottery’ produces a harmonious mix of round, angular and organic shapes – be they large plates, platters or small, delicate dishes.
Naturally, even with this handmade look the entire range still features the accustomed “Made in Germany” high quality of Schonwald hard porcelain, inclusive of dishwasher-safe underglaze decor. www.schoenwald.com
