Schoenwald introduces Allure to UK market
Hospitality brand Schoenwald presented its innovative Noble China porcelain body to the UK in a presentation held at The Gherkin in London
An unforgettable presentation of exquisite porcelain happened high above the rooftops of London last month (April 20, 2015) when porcelain specialist Schoenwald introduced its new collection Allure made of the innovative Noble China porcelain body to the UK market.
As a special highlight of the event, which was held in the top two floors of Gherkin Tower, Allure’s designer, Mr. Carsten Gollnick, presented the collection which was developed to meet the demanding requirements of top restaurants and hotels.
The presentation was followed by a 4-course dinner prepared by Matt Edmonds, chef at restaurant Searcy The Gherkin. The dinner was served on selected items of the Allure collection.
“The spectacular ambiance in the glass dome of Gherkin Tower with its 360° view and the setting sun literally put ALLURE in its true light“, says Liane Stöckert, Director International Key Accounts with Schoenwald.
"Our guests were especially thrilled to meet the designer of Allure, Carsten Gollnick. All the thoughts that inspired the development process were confirmed in reality during the presentation and dinner. A truly memorable evening for our guests!“
Not only the guests loved Allure, but also Matt Edmonds: "Allure is a perfect platform for the presentation of our menus. The exquisite design of the shape and the beautiful bone white colour perfectly fit in our ambiance and we are happy to be the first customer in the UK. It will be used in our restaurant and bar as well as in our Club Lounge being the UK’s highest Private Members’ Club.”About Allure
The Allure service offers a persuasive trinity of outstanding characteristics: urbane ele- gance due to an unusual shape, its delicate body and its soft BoneWhite colour. Thanks to the innovative hard porcelain, Noble China, and its superb design, Allure provides an impressive stage for exquisite culinary compositions. In developing this service, Schoenwald set great store by ensuring that the visual statement made by the collection would perfectly present Noble China’s advantages: delicate yet highly chip-resistant, combined with great reflective quality and the warm shimmer of the characteristic creamy-white colour of this new type of porcelain. This has been achieved in an exemplary way thanks to a sensitive, urbanely elegant design. The striking surface faceting provides a distinctive contrast to the classic simplicity of the lines. This faceting has even been used inside bowls and cups, thus creating an attractive interplay of light and shadow
