Studio William secures another award
The design-led British cutlery brand has landed a further award for its Mulberry Sensory Texture Spoons - the iF Home Style Award 2015
Studio William is delighted to announce that the Mulberry Sensory Texture Spoons have been awarded the iF Home Style Award 2015.
Established in 2008, the Home Style Award, co-organised by Shanghai Brand Development Center and Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., is an award competition for Interior Lifestyle China 2015, and is the only competition set up for the household product industry in China.
Studio William has been researching the way we consume food and in particular, asking the question, can the shape and texture of cutlery change the way we enjoy tasting food? From their on-going research, Studio William created this set of Sensory Texture Spoons to stimulate the diners' full range of senses at the table.
Each of the spoon design has been created to stimulate the sense of touch on the lips and within the mouth, allowing more than just our taste buds to be engaged in the act and enjoyment of eating.
Previously, the brand had secured a Good Design Award for 2014 with its Sensory Texture Spoons.
Studio William believe beautiful cutlery enriches the dining experience. It feels good in the hand and mouth. It shapes the mood of an occasion. It brings the table alive. It gives creative chefs new opportunities to innovate.
The Texture Sensory Spoons are made using the finest quality 18/10 stainless steel and have a mirror polished finish.
