From outdoor to Christmas, Homi spotlights several growth categories with special exhibitions and experiences
Homi, the Lifestyles Show from Fiera Milano will return from January 27-30, 2017 with a spotlight on various lifestyle trends having an impact on the industry. Therefore, there will be a particular focus on certain categories with special exhibits and demos, including on outdoor and Christmas. Homi Living Outdoor: natural materials as allies to living well
Outdoor lifestyles and installations that feature Italian originality with a focus on the relationship between man and nature – this is Homi Living Outdoor, an area interpreting outdoor living, such as on balconies and in gardens, as a natural extension of the home.
This according to style evolutions that boast new creativity as well as technological innovations and new materials that are in line with the characteristics of nature. A space made up of contemporary installations and itineraries that highlight “green culture” and conviviality.
A journey that continues on with the Homi Materials Culture display, a project that takes on the theme of the beauty and functionality of the materials used to create spaces for living.
An original display that has been created to offer new ideas and inspirations and to promote the design and technological progress of products that highlight a delicate balance between the ideas of architects and the natural power of materials. Festivity: Here Christmas and Homi are ahead of the season
Among the many themed areas, there’s a great deal of anticipation for Festivity, the large area that is once again dedicated to items for special occasions. It will be located inside the Gift & Events area of Homi.
It will have a large assortment of themed costumes, decorations, lighting elements and dedicated items. The holiday theme will be the main focus of an area that is very much in tune with ancient traditions as well as new trends. Thus, alongside products that pay homage to the art of the nativity scene and the most traditional items for the holidays, there will also be plenty of inspirations taken from the most recent trends.
These range from the ever more popular Halloween holiday to seasonal celebrations – from the welcoming of spring to summer parties, all the way to birthday parties inspired by the world of comics and superheroes.
Homi’s entire Gift & Events area (pavilions 9,14,18), which is still an integral part of the Homi show, will open two days earlier than the rest of the event, allowing specialized buyers to spend more time looking at the wealth of products on display, starting 25 January.DDD: A space to honour excellence in international design
Dream-Desire-Design (DDD), a space dedicated to international design talents. This area will host a selection of innovations conceived and manufactured in nine foreign countries. The most interesting design creations from France, Hungary, Slovenia, Morocco and United States, are to be featured in this area.
