New shades for Thomas
Purple and copper are the new on-trend colours for Thomas' Sunny Day tableware series
The individual and unique Sunny Day tableware series will give trend enthusiasts and design fans a colourful and stylish start to their day at breakfast time in 2015 as well.
The new, vibrant on-trend tone “purple” adds to the colour scheme of the Sunny Day collection and makes for a natural, perfect combination with the existing 23 cheerful colours such as light pink, neon yellow or denim.
It’s no longer possible to imagine the current fashion and interior design collection without the intense shade that lies between berry and lilac and supplements the range with a particularly modern colour. As usual, the design is dishwasher-safe, impact- resistant, scratch-proof and suitable for microwave use.
As far back as the 1970s, copper accessories were much sought-after items for German living rooms. The revival of this traditional material with its warmly shimmering surface is kept alive by the new Shiny Bronze design, which replicates the look of copper on porcelain for the first time.
And with the Thomas collection, the metallic look stands out from – yet remains the perfect complement to – the Sunny Day colour palette. While some pieces in the collection such as plates and mugs feature full-surface decoration, the decoration on the cereal bowls and cups, for example, is more restrained.
