Tableware International announces Awards 2019 Finalists

The results are in… following the assessment of the 274 product entries from 148 tabletop brands by our panel of 28 international judges, Tableware International reveals the 51 Finalists – three in each of the 17 categories

Tableware International is pleased to announce the list of 51 Finalists in the Tableware International Awards of Excellence 2019.

Having received some 274 entries from 148 brands in the Tableware International Awards of Excellence 2019 (up from 218 entries from 94 brands last year), our panel of 28 global judges, made up of retailers, buyers, distributors and designers, had a difficult task when it came to selecting the three finalists in each of the 17 categories.

“There were so many amazing entries this year, in particular, an influx of entries for the product categories of Giftable Tableware, Casual Dining and Coffee/Teaware,” says Kate Birch, editor of Tableware International. “This, of course, made the judging more difficult, but also more exciting.”

Many of the brands who participated in the first edition of the Awards, for 2018, returned this year with new collections, including Rosenthal, Orrefors, Royal Crown Derby, Lenox, Prouna, Nikko, Denby, Alessi, Herend, Portmeirion, Stelton, Vista Alegre, Noritake, LSA and Robert Welch and Pasabahce, to name but a few.

In addition, there were brands making their Tableware International Awards debut – including Riedel, Waterford, Wedgwood, William Edwards, Lehmann Glass, ASA Selection, Revol, Degrenne, Richard Ginori, Kahla, Crystalite Bohemia and Moser, among many others.
